It's almost the 8th month of the year, more than half a year passed with small happiness, re-connections, and a heartache. When I looked back and pondered, I felt like saying "Hey, I survived! What's coming?". I wouldn't say that it's been an easy 7 months, but I can say that God has been amazing. He's there with me even in the smallest events of my life.
The most painful moment would be when I lost my cousin to cancer. She was diagnosed in the beginning of February, had a surgery in March, colostomy in April, hemodialysis in early May and left us all in the 3rd week of May. 4 short months. Even now when I remember her, I kinda wonder if it's all real and she's really gone. I kept opening our whatsapp conversations, the last one was after her birthday in April. I still don't have the heart to delete the messages and her contact from my phone... but at the same time I could remember how relieved I was to see her pretty face again in the coffin, like she had never gone through those painful 4 months. I know it's God's way in telling me that she's doing okay now and without pain. Forever gone, forever missed.
Talking about work is talking about how life is really unpredictable. When the company started the new business last year we didn't think it would take-off so fast, so big! And suddenly everyone's been busy and gets busier every month. And when you're busy, time flies. Sometimes I really wonder where those 7 months have gone 😅 Amazing that we're on our way to open a 2nd branch before the end of the year, and soon the 3rd branch in the 1st quarter of 2024. I don't even know more than half of the employees anymore LOL In case anyone is wondering, the company opens an animal hospital. Come and check it out if you have pets 😉
When it comes to July, then it's about birthday. You know what's different this year? No one sends a birthday cake 😂 Finally everyone got the message. Instead, I got shoes, a bag, many Uniqlo tops, bath salts, everything I needed and enjoyed. Not to mention that in July 17th Uniqlo also released a new Naruto UT Collection for the 20th anniversary since the 1st Naruto collection. Of course, this made it to my birthday wish list that my friend happily fulfilled 😎

More importantly, I'm blessed through all the messages, phone calls, video calls and prayers sent! 💖💕 You know who you are. Trust me, they all mean just as much as the material gifts I have received. Not to mention lunches, dinners and food sent that I gained almost 2kg from eating 2 meals a day for almost 2 weeks straight! 😂😂 Now it's time to loose weight again, not yay 😓 Eh? Now I just realized that there were 2 tiny cakes on my birthday lunch! But of course, there were enjoyed together so I didn't really feel guilty 😉
So what I'm looking forward to before the end of 2023? There are some small events coming up, but the family holiday in September is definitely the most excited one! I mean, we were supposed to go in 2020 but you all know what happened to the world for 2.5 years 😒 Crossing my fingers that the weather will be great and no typhoon, please 🌞🌟 Until then, let's go on a diet so I can eat whatever I want during the trip 😜
